Schlumberger EXA2000 Series

Aimed at System-on-a-Chip Test

Schlumberger has introduced the EXA2000 series, targeted at system-on-a-chip testing. The EXA2000 series employs the same platform as the company's EXA and SX systems, in use by major semiconductor makers, and consists of the EXA2200 and EXA2400 systems.

The series is highly scalable and delivers 100 MHz or 200 MHz (400 Mb/sec) nonmultiplexed performance on up to 448 digital pins. Multiple 1.6-Gb/sec differential data/clock sources are available to support the latest generation of high-speed interfaces.

The EXA2200 system provides 100 MHz digital performance for current SOC devices, while the EXA 2400 offers true 200 MHz, 400 Mb/sec nonmultiplexed digital performance for faster emerging SOC devices.

The EXA2000 series is available now, and systems ship within 90 days ARO. Pricing for a basic EXA2200 system begins at under $1 million.
