Combs Joins QPL Limited in N. California Office

Fremont, Calif.-Edward G. Combs has joined leadframe maker QPL Limited in the company's new N. California office. Appointed director of technical sales, Combs reports to Larry Worth, vice president of sales and marketing.

An industry veteran, Combs was most recently vice president for engineering at ASAT Inc., also in Fremont, a company he joined in 1987.

Prior to joining ASAT, he was vice president of sales and marketing at Swire Tech-nologies, a company that has been merged into Hana Semiconductor. Earlier, he was operations manager at Amkor Technology.

Asymtek/NESG Appoints New Regional Sales Mgr. for Europe

Carlsbad, Calif.-Asymtek/Nordson Electronics Systems Group (NESG) has promoted Nico Coenen to regional sales manager for the UK, Benelux, Ireland and Switzerland.

Coenen, who is fluent in four languages, reports to Lisa Ryan, Asymtek's general manager for Europe. He was promoted from marketing communications coordinator. He earned a degree in accounting and marketing from Provinciaal Hoger Handelsinstituut in Hasselt, Belgium. [asymtek.com]

Compass Technology Installs Rogers as U.S. Sales Director

Loveland, Colo.-Todd Rogers [todd_rogers@cgth.com] has been named U.S. director of sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Compass, a Hong Kong-based maker of high-density flexible circuits, Rogers held management posts at Sheldahl's Longmont, Colo., facility. [cgth.com]

Concord, Calif.-March Plasma Systems recently added Jeffrey Seah and Daniel Chir Kim Pong to its Asia Pacific region support, based in Singapore.
